Photography Guidelines

Technical Requirements

EFCA Today’s digital publishing format requires — at a minimum — 72 DPI files at 560 pixels wide.

Our occasional print format requires files of 300 DPI at 10 inches wide in an RGB JPEG file.

We accept most any kind of file, but we prefer a TIF, JPEG or EPS. JPEGS are usually easier to e-mail, but we'd recommend ZIP or some other form of additional compression. To send multiple photos on a CD, mail to:

Content Requirements

The Face to Face Gallery is a collection of photos highlighting the Evangelical Free Church of America family: people touched by the ministry of the EFCA or people doing that touching in the name of Christ.

We request photos that clearly show people’s faces and are a close-up “introduction.” For that reason, no group photos of more than 4 people, please.

For each photo you submit, please include:

  • your name
  • your church affiliation: name, city, state, pastor
  • name of the photographer and his/her EFCA church name, if applicable
  • 1- 3 sentence caption that answers the basic who/what/when/where/why describing the content of the photo — emphasizing the EFCA connection
